How long it takes, and how to check your status
Updated
The June 2026 manuals say about 72 hours, but in first-hand reports approval has taken days to weeks (the live range is below). Apply at least 3 to 4 weeks before your flight. The decision and any rejection reason arrive by email, not in the portal, and the signed visa can also be downloaded from Mis solicitudes.

How this works
- Every step, mistake and answer rests on a rule in our rules base, with its source (official manual, reviewer, or applicant reports) and the date it was last verified. If a rule is withdrawn, that point disappears from the page.
- Amounts, durations and limits come from one configuration with its own verification date; "Last updated" is the newest date of everything the page shows.
- Written by us from the MPPRE manuals and dated applicant reports. We never quote or name members of community groups.
